June Thoughts:
I give thanks for Sabbath time and the opportunity to take time away for rest and relaxation, to visit with family and to spend quality time with my husband Jon. It is a gift to be able to take a vacation and be away from the tasks of the daily work routine. Jon and I had a wonderful time; it has been a long time since we have taken time off without family duties. Thank you! Our Literacy Program is off to a good start with the Albion Recreation Department Peapods. We had 20 & 22 children the first week. Our theme this year is animals. Steve White, Music Director at St. Thomas Battle Creek is taking the lead in planning a music and poetry program for July 9th & 11th. Members of the Albion Community Gardens will be planning a program on gardening, healthy eating and exercise the last week of July and the first week of August.
